Propagation
Propagated by seed and germinates best at 95 F.
Start seed indoors during early spring to prevent any frost damage that may occur. Squash takes on average 5 to 10 days to emerge.
Once all threat of frost has passed, transplant young plants into a well fertilized plot, keeping in mind the spacing of each plant in relation to the variety type and growth.
Seed can be saved up to 6 years in a cool dry place.
